Daniel de la Falaise is a renowned private chef with an eclectic roster of international clients, a keen sensibility for simple, seasonal cooking and a respect for the integrity of his produce. Classically trained, he is a proponent of traditional sustainable farming practices, aiming to interfere as little as possible with the ingredients which he sources from local suppliers near his home in the Midi-Pyrénées.
We worked closely with de la Falaise on the art direction, design and supplementary photography of his first cookbook, Nature’s Larder: Cooking with the Senses. The book is part diary, part family history and part compendium of techniques and well-loved recipes which come together to form a unique philosophy on the joys of the table.
